| The First Hotel Amaranten is a modern, first class hotel offering every imaginable facility and service. The First Hotel Amaranten is situated in the heart of Kungsholmen, opposite Stockholm's Court House. In our surroundings there are shops, pubs, restaurants, the Oscar Theater and beautiful walking areas along Norr Mдlarstrand (by the water). The First Hotel Amaranten feautres 423 rooms, including 52 superior rooms and 12 deluxe rooms. The hotel has recently completed a refurbishment of the majority of the bedrooms, the corridors and the exterior of the hotel. All rooms have shower/bath, cable TV, inhouse movies, minibar, hairdryer and telephone. Room service is available between 7.00-10.00 and 12.00-23.00. The hotel is proud of its dining facilities. OґLearys has a American Sportsbar concept, with a menu based upon American specialities such as Buffalo Wings, Ceasar Salad, BBQ Burgers and Fajitas served with beers and drinks from all over the world. OґLearys is your kind of place to relax after work with friends where you can enjoy a three course meal or test your wits against our arcade sport games. All major sports events such as The World Cup and The Hockey Championships, English & Italian football, Formula 1 and Superbowl are highlights shown ”live” on OґLearys big-screen.
As a guest you have access to the hotel’s fitness center which features a pool, sauna, mini-gym and tanning facilities. Upon your special request the relaxing center also features massages. Snacks and beverages can be ordered and enjoyed by the pool side. If you like excursions we would recommend you to take one of the many different sightseeing tours offered around Stockholm either by boat or by bus. The reception will assist you in reserving the tickets. Only a 10 minutes walk from the hotel is the City Hall which have guided tours several times a day. The First Hotel Amaranten provides four group rooms that can hold a maximum of 8 people. Two of these rooms are located on the sixth floor with balconies and all rooms have standard technical equipment. These rooms also have hide-away beds so they can be used as both bed- and conference room. The First Hotel Amaranten offers lunch and dinner menus for conferences, groups, banquets and parties. We accommodate up to 200 people. The hotel is working together with Piperska Muren which is a conference center build in the 18th centery, newly renovated. |
