The hotel’s 114 rooms are ensconced in adjoining 17th century town houses in the center of the Old Town -"Gamla Stan." This interesting district, carefully tended for 700 years, is a pristine example of a living medieval town. The hotel's ancient, subterranean stone vaults serves as the setting for the swimming pool and the picturesque Quarter Deck restaurant, sited on a waterfront, serves delicious seafood. Fear not the ravages of old age, renovations have insured modern accommodations down to the massage shower heads.
The hotel is proud of its dining facilities. The restaurant Primo Ciao-Ciao offers a mix of Mediterranean cuisine with an Asian touch, in a modern marine atmosphere. The Pianobar is one of Stockholmґs most popular, both with the guests of the hotel and the residents of Stockholm. The piano Bar is open every day except Sunday. Downstairs, beneath beautiful cross vaults from the 1690ґs you will find the sauna and plunge pool. In these vaults, parts of the old city wall are preserved.
